"If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading." - Lao Tzu

There are times when we find ourselves under stress, lost, and not knowing where to go. Not everyone has a clear goal, although that can be pressuring, we will start to notice the people behind us too. Being looked down in the same way by others, and looking down on others the same too - this gives us the idea of our position at that time. From this, we are able to get a jist of a few of what surrounds us, allowing us to move. This will happen multiple times, and just maybe, each time we will respond in a better way each time.

Stress, and although knowing where we are, yet not knowing where that part of ourselves is, or anything along those lines prove they are something many of us encounter. The quote above, by the well-known Taoist master Lao Tzu, applies in so many situations including this. You could be satisfied, yet not feeling full enough, and finding a goal straightaway isn't the easiest thing out there. You know what you want, so where would we want to be with that, and so what tasks could be undertaken in order to do so?

When that sort of time comes, I feel like I'm in a dense forest, with only small traces of sunlight falling through the canopy. Yet some of the shadows below me aren't caused by the trees, but the mountain that lies ahead. Not sure how near or far, but it's there, that's what counts when it comes to that. I refer to the 'goal' mountain, I want fulfillment! Of course, mountains don't only symbolise 'the top', or 'the destination', but also 'obstacles'. Well, then that forest must be on a huge mountain.

Taking the wheel ~ performing with only instinct will grow, into conscious action, I just noticed that - as I was typing that first sentence... it was coming from the foremost part of my mind instead of 'somewhere' in my head. It feels different, but I feel it, I'll take it, and learn more. Goodnight!
