"At least you have a direction."

Even if there is no distinct line, the batter is clear on the direction they need to hit, and so does the person with the ball. Their directions may be opposite each other's, but that's completely okay because they want different things and so have different goals. It just so happened that these two people have found each other and are facing each other head on. For their baseball team, of course.

Their love of baseball tells them not to lose. They know where to go, so they should be fine. Good luck to them!

The lines that mark the fouls are enough for them to know where to go. What about you, how do you decide on your direction (whether it be short-term or long-term)? What do you like as opposed to dislike?
