Point is, it is perfectly fine to not want anything to do with a person. In saying that, that's the only way you intend it to be - super neutral. Just be nice, polite.

Being worse than neutral makes you seem a bit rude. So, simply be neutral - nice. Simply that.

Point is, don't make anyone's day worse.
