"You have $86,400 in your account and someone stole $10 from you, would you be upset and throw all of the $86,390 away in hopes of getting back at the person that took your $10? Or move on and live? See, we have 86,400 second in every day so don't let someone's negative 10 seconds ruin the rest of the 86,390. Don't sweat the small stuff, life is bigger than that." - Unknown
This is really nicely put, it is able to throw the mind approach the way it wants by a simple comparison. Not to mention, the comparison is of two very precious things - money and time. They're both very important - money and currency is today's necessity to have access to resources, and time is always beside us as life goes on. Don't misunderstand, being greedy over money is wrong, but it is the fact that you need the money to accomplish other things in life, as of today. The quote above talks about resilience - 'bouncing back'. My school is teaching this sort of thing, I believe it's a pretty good idea, as schools should help students develop many traits that is sure to be needed somewhere further on in life.
As a teenager/child, it can be easy to find something that can let you down (but of course, everyone else can too), however that means it can be just as easy to get back up there. Even so, moving up and ahead along with time is a beautiful thing - let's go!
